Plank Castle Oak Transparent Vivo Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Textured oak has a broad, characterful figure, with plenty of knots and colour variation from board to board. A brushed surface has a more traditional, worked look. A protective matt lacquer on a stable engineered core means spills and scuffs wipe straight off the sealed surface, while the core won't cup or gap the way a solid board can. At 2.2 m long, the room reads calmer with fewer lines across it. Put together, it's a tough surface on a steady core that should take years of use without complaint.

Installation Advice
Plank Castle Oak Transparent Vivo is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
