Plank Castle Oak Transparent Vivo Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Textured oak carries an open, flowing grain, with clear movement board to board. Brushing lifts the grain, so the figure stands out clearly. A protective matt lacquer on a stable engineered core means spills and scuffs wipe straight off the sealed surface, and there's a full 3.5 mm of wear layer to sand back before any refinish. At 2.2 m long, they suit a larger room. It adds up to a hard-wearing floor on a core that stays put, the kind that takes daily use in its stride.

Installation Advice
Plank Castle Oak Transparent Vivo is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
