Prestige Oak Transparent Select Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Level oak has an open, flowing grain, with a calm, even grade from board to board. A protective matt lacquer means the seal takes the brunt of daily traffic, and there's a full 3.5 mm of wear layer to sand back before any refinish. Laid in herringbone, the boards form a classic angled pattern that rewards a larger space. It suits calmer, restful rooms, and it's rated to sit over underfloor heating. Expect it to wear in nicely across calmer, restful rooms.

Installation Advice
Prestige Oak Transparent Select is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
