Prestige Oak Transparent Select Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Level oak shows a broad, characterful figure, with a calm, even grade from board to board. Across the level surface the grain reads clearly. A protective matt lacquer means a wipe with a damp mop is about all it asks, and there's a full 3.5 mm of wear layer to sand back before any refinish. A herringbone pattern draws the eye and works in both period and modern rooms. Well suited to calmer, restful rooms, and underfloor heating is no problem. It's an easy fit for calmer, restful rooms and should age well there.

Installation Advice
Prestige Oak Transparent Select is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
