Prestige Oak Transparent Structure Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Smooth oak carries an open, flowing grain, with strong rustic character from board to board. A protective matt lacquer on a stable engineered core means the surface shrugs off the odd splash, and there's a full 3.5 mm of wear layer to sand back before any refinish. A herringbone pattern draws the eye and works in both period and modern rooms. Well suited to period rooms, and it can go down over underfloor heating. It adds up to a hard-wearing floor on a core that stays put, the kind that takes daily use in its stride.

Installation Advice
Prestige Oak Transparent Structure is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
