Pure Oak 2-Strip Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Smooth oak shows an open, flowing grain, with a calm, even grade from board to board. A smooth surface suits a clean, pared-back room. A protective matt lacquer on a real-wood veneer over a stable base means scuffs are easy to miss across the low sheen, while the core stays flat thanks to its layered base. At 193 mm wide, each board has space to show its grain. It suits busy kitchens and hallways, and underfloor heating is no problem.

Installation Advice
Pure Oak 2-Strip is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
