Sandur Smoked Oak Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Brushed oak has an open, flowing grain, a soft grey, with the full range of natural marks from board to board. Brushing lifts the grain, so the figure stands out clearly. A soft, matt oiled finish means there's very little glare, even in a bright room. At 1.9 m long, they suit a larger room. It's a straightforward, hard-working floor at heart.

Installation Advice
Sandur Smoked Oak is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
