Somersby Oak Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Textured oak carries an open, flowing grain in a golden cast, with the full range of natural marks from board to board. Brushing helps everyday scuffs vanish into the grain. A protective matt lacquer means footprints barely show on the matt surface, and its 6 mm wear layer can be sanded back rather than replaced.

Installation Advice
Somersby Oak is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
