Uist Oak Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Smooth oak carries an open, flowing grain in a golden cast, with the full range of natural marks from board to board. Its 3 mm wear layer means there's plenty of surface to wear before any refinishing. At 1.9 m long, the room reads calmer with fewer lines across it. A practical choice for busy kitchens and hallways, and underfloor heating is no problem. It's an easy fit for busy kitchens and hallways and should age well there.

Installation Advice
Uist Oak is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
