Katsura Oak Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Brushed oak has a broad, characterful figure, a soft brown, with the full range of natural marks from board to board. A brushed surface has a more traditional, worked look. A soft, matt oiled finish means it sits in the grain and still feels like timber underfoot, and there's a full 4 mm of wear layer to sand back before any refinish. It suits busy kitchens and hallways, and it's rated to sit over underfloor heating. Expect it to wear in nicely across busy kitchens and hallways.

Installation Advice
Katsura Oak is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
